THE ULTIMATE LONDON SHOPPING GUIDE
THE ULTIMATE LONDON SHOPPING GUIDE

London is synonymous with great shopping. From the hustle and bustle of entire shopping streets to great designer boutiques that outfit everyone from celebrities to the Royal Family and plenty of affordable high street options. However, with so many options at hand, things can feel a bit overwhelming - that’s why we’ve put together the best shopping spots in the city!

1. Oxford Street
Oxford Street truly offers a shopping experience like no other. Known as the granddaddy of all shopping streets in London, and at one and a half miles long it features just about any major fashion brand. Think H&M, Mango, Topshop and tons more.

However, a landmark to see (and shop at) is Selfridges, a department store featuring several floors of luxury fashion, home goods, electronics and jewellery.

Looking to get away from the rush? Then we recommend slipping off to St. Christopher Place where you’ll find a handpicked selection of boutique shops and alfresco eateries.

2. Knightsbridge
Prefer your shopping more on the luxury side or looking to splurge on your first designer item? Then Knightsbridge is the place to be!

This luxury shopper’s paradise is perfectly located below beautiful Hyde Park. The main shopping thoroughfare in Knightsbridge is Brompton Road, which is where you’ll find the world-renowned department store, Harrods. Just a short distance away from Harrods you’ll find fashion-focused Harvey Nichols.

Next, head off to Beauchamp Place to discover some of London’s most extravagant luxury boutiques!

3. Regent Street
Regent Street is so fashionable that it is nicknamed “Mile of Style” by locals. Acting as a border between trendy Soho and Mayfair, Regent Street is where you’ll find various luxury stores such as Coach, Armani, Michael Kors and more.

There are also many British labels that can be found on Regent Street, specifically Ted Baker, Superdry and Burberry. Further in, you’ll find Liberty London, a one-of-kind department store specialising in luxury fashion, home goods and exquisite fabrics.

Shopping with the family? Then we suggest heading off into Hamley's toy!

4. Berwick Street & Carnaby Street in Soho
Soho is well known for its rock’n’roll heritage. Berwick Street offers an eclectic mix of boutique alternative brands, record stores and bespoke tailors.

And then over on Carnaby Street - you’ll find a plethora of fashion retailers like Dr Martens, Ben Sherman, Puma and more!

5. Belgravia
Belgravia is known for its elegant Regency architecture and wide range of boutique stores. Shopping here feels special because there are minimal big international brand names.

We recommend starting on Elizabeth Street home to luxury fragrance boutiques Les Senteurs and Jo Loves. As a fashion lover, you’ll love a trip to Jenny Packham’s accessories boudoir. This London based designer is the Duchess of Cambridge's go-to choice for evening wear.

Looking for luxury labels? Then head off to Sloane Square where you’ll find the likes of Chanel, Hermes, Prada and Jimmy Choo!

6. Notting Hill
Notting Hill is a charming London neighbourhood known for its candy coloured buildings, cute coffee shops and shopping, specifically Portobello Market!

To get the full Portobello experience, we recommend visiting on a Saturday morning as this is when all the antique stalls, shops and arcades are fully open. It is the best time to purchase authentic vintage goods ranging from beautiful Victorian-era jewellery to retro mid-century modern household items.Tend to feel peckish while shopping? Just past the antique market on Portobello Road, you’ll find the delectable food market!
